911 GT3

The 991.1 GT3 is Porsche at its most exacting: a naturally aspirated 3.8-litre flat-six that revs to 9,000 rpm, a seven-speed PDK gearbox tuned for track use, and the first GT3 application of rear-wheel steering. On road-legal tyres it lapped the Nurburgring Nordschleife in roughly 7 minutes 22 seconds, putting a production 911 into territory normally reserved for far more exotic machinery.
